New season of Wine Dinners

Dear Friends and Patrons,

Spring is here! And we are ready to celebrate that with new dishes on our menu, new wines on our list, and a new season of wine dinners.

Pierre has been working hard to land some great wine makers and importers here at Provence; it should be an exciting couple of months.

Come join us on Thursday, March 26th to taste these beautiful wines.

Languedoc
Wine Dinner with
Wines from Mas de Daumas Gassac
April 16th

This evening will be one to remember! Wines from Aimé Guibert, and food inspired by his wife Véronique’s cook book. Could there be a better combination? Aimé and Véronique have owned the vineyards since the early ’70s and have produced the first ever “Grand Cru” coming from the Languedoc. This region has gone through such growth and development over the last few decades.

All their wines will be presented by Virgile Rousseau, Brand Ambassador of the Daumas Gassac winery in the U.S..

The wine selection will include:

Moulin de Gassac - Picpoul de Pinet 2012

Pont de Gassac Blanc - IGP Pays d’Hérault 2012, a blend of Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Clairette

Mas de Daumas Gassac Rouge - VDP de l’Herault 2011

and their Rosé Frizant - Vin Mousseux 2014, a “bleed” from their Cabernet Sauvignon.

Imagine all these beautiful wines paired with the delicious dishes coming from the Languedoc.

Please call the restaurant at 919-967-5008 to make your reservation for Thursday the 16th of April at 7:00 PM. $59.00 per person plus tax and gratuity.

May and June wine dinners are in the making. As soon as we’ve finalized the menu and wine choices for our Languedoc dinner, we’ll send details out detailing the rest of the season.

From all of us at Provence, we’d like to thank you for your continued support and patronage!

Baptist Knaven, Executive Chef
